Endgame
I've watched. . . what? five episodes over the past two days, so the plots are blurring together in my memory. But! I am full of glee for Endgame. I like Danni in her own right, but I definitely have leftover warm and fuzzies for her actress (Katharine Isabelle, Ginger Fitzgerald of Ginger Snaps). My absolute faves are Arkady (arrogant, snarky, and damaged--his sense of humour keeps his dead wife angst from becoming unbearable manpain) and Alcina.
Alcina makes me glee like you wouldn't believe. I want her to have an episode of her own. I want to know about her kids, and her murdered husband, and everything. Alcina works as a maid at the ritzy Huxley Hotel, and she gets sucked into helping Arkady with his "puzzles" (read: crime solving). She offers practical advice, snoops through the room of an admitted murderer, and takes out bad guys with her broom.
I love the "huh, interesting" expression she has at the end.
Wiki tells me the show isn't getting a second season. You had better be toying with me, Wiki, or I will not be happy.
