STICKY: Dear Yuletide Writer
Dear Yuletide Writer,
First, and most importantly, thank you for writing a story for me. I’m very easy to please, and am sure that I’ll greatly enjoy whatever you may write. Have fun, and try not to stress too much!

I like gen, het, girlslash, boyslash and threesomes; the extent to which I prefer one over the other depends heavily on the fandom in question. I tend to have One True Characters rather than One True Pairings, with a few exceptions. I love female characters--from kickass women to the girliest of girls. I love women crossdressing as men (this is more of a plot kink than a sexual kink). I am unashamedly fond of cliché fics: snuggling for warmth; posing as lovers; everyone thinks that so-and-so are together, drunken confessions, and so forth. I'll read anything from G-rated gen fic, to kinky NC17 porn.
I love sexual-tension; small gestures that convey intimacy; realization of attraction and/or love. I love stoic characters; dorks; characters with hidden depths or talents; best friends; partners; family (both by blood, and self-made). I am interested in history, memory, identity.
I love respect between characters; power-plays that aren’t biased towards one character; gruff tenderness; wordless communication; protectiveness that still respects the strength of the one being protected. I like hands, hips, necks, pulse points; hands beneath clothes; a sharply dressed man or woman. I like snark, and characters who are snarky even when in love. Happy or hopeful endings are a must.
I do not like non-consensual kink of any stripe (rape play? sure. actual rape? no, thank you), the death of beloved characters, sitcom style humiliation. I don't like sappy romances, or the use and abuse of pet-names (especially fan-made pet-names). I don't mind kidfic, but I do strongly dislike the idea that a relationship is only complete once children come into the picture.
In no particular order, my requests:
Long Love Letter
Misaki/Asami or Tadashi/Nishi ship fic would be awesome. If you're a gen writer, I'd like to see more about the interaction between the various timelines. I'd also really enjoy seeing how things progress after the series ends.
Misaki/Asami is my OTP for this series. I love how they depend on one another, and respect each other as equals. While there was a tiny bit of now they do. . . now they don't in their relationship, for the most part, Misaki and Asami were both open and mature about their feelings for one another.
Straight up Misaki/Asami 'ship fic is awesome. Fic set within series, in the alternate "present" timeline, or post-series (in either timeline) are all cool with me.
I'd also be thrilled to see more of the people left in the present--did any other family member or friend have an experience like Misaki's dad did (ex: the bottle opener)? I'd love to see other people getting images or feelings from their lost loved ones in the future.
The thought of future!Asami alone for the rest of his life breaks my heart. I'd like to see future!Asami get some sort of happy ending. Feel free to hook him up with any other character (het and slash are both fine) once the worst of his grief over Misaki has begun to subside. The new relationship doesn't have to be about love; it can be based on companionship and practicalities arising out of their new life in the future.
I kind of 'ship Tadashi and Nishi (he gave her the lighter to scare away animals, shared his coat with her, offered to help her with her bath, and told her that he'd decided to take care of her from now on. That's at least a little 'ship worthy!) Anything with them would be great.
There's plenty of room for angst in Long Love Letter, but I'd like a fic that ends happily (or hopefully) for these characters. The series gives us a final image of hope at the end, and I'd like any fic in this fandom to respect that (and hey, everyone has already suffered plenty in-canon by that point!)

Pool ha-woo-seu | Full House
I love this ridiculous show, and would like to see more of Ji Eun and Young Jae being dorky and adorable together. Or perhaps something that shows how Ji Eun is accepted back into Young Jae's family after their marriage contract is exposed?
Or, hey, tent porn.
Full House wasn't my first kdrama, but it was one of my earliest. A lot of people in my circle like making fun of the series--hey, I do too!--but I really do love Ji Eun and Young Jae. The way their power dynamic shifted over the course of the series is interesting. Young Jae starts off with the upper hand, and we end the series with Ji Eun's "I've got you. Now you have to do what I say."
While I'm usually all about the UST and first time fics, I'd really enjoy a story set after the series ends. I'd like to see more bickering and banter between Young Jae and Ji Eun as they adapt to life as a married couple. At the same time, Ji Eun's career is taking off, and Young Jae is making his comeback--how does that play into the happy OTP funtimes scenes the drama ended with?
I loved Ji Eun's relationship with Young Jae's family (Three Bears ♥) It was heartbreaking to see how disappointed they were in Ji Eun after the truth came out, and how coldly Young Jae's father treated her. Did Ji Eun reconcile with Young Jae's family before he came back? How did his family react when they got married again, for real this time?

Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge | The Wallflower (manga)
Anything with Sunako being her creepy, badass self would thrill me to bits. Sunako/Kyohei is my OTP for the series, but I'd also love to see more of Sunako's relationship with Noi or her aunt.
PGE is one of my all-time favourite shoujo manga, despite it's various flaws. I adore Sunako because she's strong, stubborn, deeply caring in often surprising ways, and deeply badass. She's not perfect--she shows some pretty disturbing character traits, after all--but the solution isn't to make her a lady. Sunako is happy with who she is, and despite their complaints and occasional freakouts, so are Kyohei and the others.
Even though their romance is advancing at a snail's pace, I love Sunako and Kyohei together. I love that they both criticize and insult one another--but that they ultimately respect each other. I love the constant push and pull between them, and how they're always fighting for dominance. I love that Sunako ends up rescuing Kyohei as often as he does her. I enjoy the ridiculous situations they get into, and how often those situations involve lavish cosplay and bondage. PGE is definitely the fandom where you can go wild with the kinks, because canon has left plenty of room for them.
If you don't want to write Sunako/Kyohei, I'd also really enjoy seeing more interaction between Sunako and the Landlady, or Sunako and Noi. While the Landlady kickstarted the series with her free rent for a makeover plot, it's obvious that she truly does love Sunako, and only wants the best for her. Even though Sunako and the Landlady have two vastly different approaches to the world, they manage to find common ground.
Sunako and Noi's friendship was unexpected, but completely wonderful. I love that there's no romantic rivalry between them. Noi's enthusiastic belief in Sunako's awesomeness is great. Most of their interaction does involve Kyohei or Takenaga, so a story where it's just the two of them having zany adventures would be terrific. I would not say no to a bit of femslashy subtext, either.

Kenzi can be an obnoxious brat, but I love her. The Bo-Kenzi relationship makes the show for me, so more of that would be great. Or more about her relationship with Dyson, and snarking with Hale. Perhaps Kenzi and Lauren come to an understanding, being two humans among the fae?
I wasn't planning to request a fourth fandom this year, but then I watched episode 1.06 and realized that yes, I do need Lost Girl fic in my life. The episode made me fall in love with Kenzi and Dyson's friendship--so warm! so utterly unexpected!--and that's what I was thinking about when I first signed up for Yuletide. But, really, I'd like to see more of Kenzi and just about any other character. I love her relationship with Bo, like the snarky sidekick banter she and Hale are developing, and find her dislike for Lauren interesting. I like my Kenzi a bit bratty, funny, and deeply loyal to the people she loves (or, Bo).
I'm interested in gen fic, although background canon pairings are cool with me. I haven't hit on any Kenzi pairing that really works for me as of yet, but I haven't really gone looking. If you want to pair her with someone, I'm willing to go along with that.
