On good starts
So 2006 is sooo last year, new year is now old hat and Christmas is but a distant memory. So far I've enjoyed the televisual treat of This Life +10 which exceeded my expectations - but then my expectations were pretty low anyway. I also missed about the last minute of it so I don't actually know how it ends - this was due to my father failing to take into account the possibility of a programme over-running its allotted time when he set the recorder.
In other news, Villa held Chelsea to a goalless draw. Granted pretty much every team they've played recently have managed to hold them to a draw but we effectively managed to stop them scoring - at the expense of doing so ourselves. Chelsea really are suffering and they're neither as good as last year nor as good as Man Utd. But, all in all, a good point to start the year. Now we just have two games against Man Utd to get through before we can get a few more.
