Oh what a day!
Today marked a very special day for me. My first (and probably last, considering my schedule) date for the summer! I won't mention her name, because that would be rude and indiscreet, but we work at Darien Lake together and decided to spend the day in the park. At the start, her friend was with us and often kept disappearing to talk to people she knew, or else complaining or chickening out of aggressive rides. Eventually, after some food and rides, she disappeared, and my date and I went on the Giant Wheel. There, we got much...cozier together than we'd been before. And then it happened...shortly after we stopped halfway to the top. It happened twice actually...long, no tongue. It felt great though...
Then of course I found out she had a boyfriend. Back in the home country. They're having a lot of relationship problems, she's having fun here, but is in a vulnerable spot romantically. She likes me and thinks I'm cute, but doesn't want to be the wrongdoer! Okay, honestly! Would you taken ladies please leave me alone already? I mean this is getting ridiculous!
Oh well. It wasn't that big a deal. We hugged, I was completely sympathetic and understanding, and we got along fantastically for the rest of the day. The rest of the day was just the two of us, so we hit all the roller coasters (I have a souvenier photo of us on the Superman), walked around the shops, got ice cream, and watched Laserblast. I walked her back to the bus stop. I'm really going to miss her once summer's over, but she's promised to send all the pictures of us she took. I told her that I would come to her home country some day, and that I hoped I'd see her again then.
All in all, great day! I'm not really sure what else I need for the summer to get even better. Maybe it's just as well, I only have a few more weeks to figure it out anyway.
