507: The Past Week...
Has gone a lot better. A couple of midterms--French didn't go as well as it could have, but it was still a low-A on it; just took the Feminist Philosophy one. I'm always the first one to leave Switzer's exams! Mostly 'cause I really get into it, write a bunch of shit, and then take off. She really loves me, though... it's almost scary. But not really, 'cause I love that class--we basically sit around and talk about feminism. It's awesome.
Anywho, last night I got drunk for the first time in my life. It was amusing, because me and Daniela drank pretty much the whole bottle of cheap vodka (while watching the first half of "Breakfeast at Tiffany's", which I'd never seen, and which I must finish one of these days now), but it really hit her hard (there was a bit of vomiting, though not too much, and she passed out later)... wheras I just got pretty loose and what we will term 'happy-stumbly-everything-is-hilarious' drunk... and the that wore off after a few more hours. The German really is dominant in me! *ticks box for 'get's drunk easily yet has high tolerance'*
Also, reading more lately: working on that Denise Levertov ("The Jacob's Ladder") and read a bit more Leopardi last night. Much deep thought was had on poetry and language... and how Leopardi is so devestatign I can only read one poem of his every couple of months.
