506: Not Exactly Russia's Best...
So, last night I shot through the hymen of my Vodka Virginity, officially... well, the alcohol hymen was oh-so-delicately pierced last weekend with four sips of my LH (Lesbian Husband)'s licorice jager-tampico concoction. But yesterday evening, I was finally able to deposit my check (I have money!) and so I wanted to go and get some (cheap) vodka and get a little buzzed. You know, college is for experimenting, right?
Anywho, we watched a movie--"Secretary", thanks for the rec, you-know-who!--and during a pause break in the middle of that so I could go downstairs to use the restroom, I felt a little buzzed, and ran into Shelley into the hall, and had a ball picking her up and twirling her around, laughing like a, well, idiot. Fun times.
So next week--tequila! (My LH is a Tequila girl, through and through.)
Oh, and today, it is sprinkling a bit, which makes me inordinately happy and I am going to enjoy the bliss of solitude today and do some reading and miscellaneous homework things. First, I have to do my French textbook, but there will be heavy doses of reading Denise Levertov and Virginia Woolf in there (I have "Jacob's Ladder" and "Orlando" respectively). I've also been reading a lot of random Christine de Pizan in there and I"m enjoying this reading for Anthro: "Mother Camp: Female Impersonators in America". Yay for drag queens! ^_^
So, yeah, as Cat so eloquently pointed out, "sounds like you're having fun". Well, I'm trying here, I sure am trying. ;P
P.S. Yes, the rain always makes me happy. Ecstatic, most definitely.
