Mentally, that is. I basically scampered, trying to edit the film in between classes, 'cause I thought it was due at 6. I panicked, almost cried, ended up not being able to splice in Genesis's scene or making a personal copy of it... and then I find out, I could've taken my time and turned it in tomorrow. Well, as me and my Lesbian Husband keep saying, what can you do?
It's still decent and coherent, yet random and amusing. Hopefully y'all will get to see it, but I don't know. I'm nearly collapsed mentally, but as I said to my Aunt (the Woman of Steele), I am always impressed that when put in stressful circumstances like that, even though I tend to make it harder for myself, I stay together and still managed to accomplish something...
Then, I just came back from a writer who came to speak... Nilo Cruz. Pretty amazing stuff, I'm not quite cogent enough to pontificate yet, but it was very intellectually and emotionally nourishing--even though such mental expansion leaves me sad and antisocial. That is to say, feeling like a writer. XP
I'll be writing about that for the QC. Which, I will hopefully be doing less of. Or I will otherwise find someway to make my schedule sane again. Or at least adjust to it, become resourceful with my time, whatev. I'll let you know how that goes...
French quiz this morning, though. Went pretty well, I think, which always makes me happy. I am at least staying on top of that.
Bah! All this stuff swirling around it my mind, but I'll just tell you about it as it happens. In Anthro Sex&Gender we're reading about drag queens; watching "Paris is Burning" on wed. Essay to write for English that's due tomorrow. Snuck up on me because I didn't realize the prompt was in the packet she passed out hella long ago. Reading for Feminist Philosophy should be easy though... If anything, I will cite my movie about feminism as my excuse; Switzer loves me anyway.
Oh, and ran into Branden (lesbian lover); she graduated, but came back to see Cruz. Got her number, so it'll be good to talk to her again; much missing.
Oh, and my mother apparently has this cute new haircut--according to the Woman of Steele. Can't wait to see that, I've been trying to convince her to give up that atrocious perm most of my life, practically.
Okay, really gotta go! Love y'all! *waves, dashes off*
