(no subject)
After two days of rehearsal, first choir performance was tonight at the commencement dinner. I thought it went all right until afterwards when everyone was complaining about all the misnotes and mispronounciations. I guess that speaks for my inexperience *shrug*
We got a table at the top of Hall reserved for the choir, and we spent a significant amount of time trying to remember each others names, which is hard when we've got two sets of twins and one pair is identical except for a freckle and a slight difference in fringe length. 0.o
Apart from that, today was very relaxing. I met Ashley (who by the way is useless if you need an opinion on swimwear) at M-Central, then went all the way back to college only to go back into the city with Steph for shopping of various kinds. I completely missed lunch by accident (why is it earlier on Saturdays, again) so I stuffed myself with KFC, which may have been a mistake...
Okay, it's official, JCH people practice their instruments at all hours of the day. I wouldn't mind even if it was a bit louder... it's just that bits and snatches keep reaching me and I'd rather hear the whole thing or not at all. *Glower*
Meeting the fam tomorrow, choir rehearsal at 3.30. Classes begin on Monday, starting with Body, Text, Performance; and I don't really know what that is yet. Um, oh well?
