Finally Here
I have finally made it to Providence! It's kinda gloomy out and we're supposed to get some pretty bad storms soon but it's really pretty. I can't wait to see it on a beautiful sunny day. When you pull off the highway and enter Providence the first thing you see is the magnificent Rhode Island State Building!
It's really huge.
We went shopping today and looking around town. There is this fortress of a mall smack in the middle of Downtown Providence called Providence Place. Our cab driver said its something like 111 stores in 4 stories! It was intense and a lot of fun. We had delicious cheesecake at the cheese cake factory and steak and shrimp for dinner YUM!!
But now we are both exhausted and relaxing before bed and my big day of moving on to that amazing Ivy League campus tomorrow!!! I'll keep updating as I go along, and hopefully with some of my own pictures soon!!!
