(no subject)
grha I have a sinus migrane, and I've had it for a few days now. I hate the seasonal changes, cause they always make me miserable. I just feel like asshole anyway cause today was stressful.
John and I woke up before day break so we could have enough time to drag ass around the house in an attempt to wake up. Neither one of us are really morning people, but I tend to become coherent faster than John. Anyway we get to the DPS, he passes his written test, we got an appointment for him to take his driving test at 3:15. So all was set. We came back home till 2 then went back up there, I let him drive around in the neighborhood that they would have him drive around in, and he got used to the SUV pretty quickly. So off we went to the DPS and waited for his appointment. For some reason he wasn't nervous at all, and I was. So anyway I got out and let him pull up to the starting spot so the instructor could evaluate the car and check the insurance and shit. So I started smoking a cigarette to pass the time, and after of course the car passed for everything working right, we hit a snag. Apparently my dad gave my mom the wrong insurance card (surprise surprise) and her suv wasn't listed on that one. As soon as John told me that we didn't have the right card all I could say was "Awesome." So anyway I call my mom and tell her that it got screwed up and she told me what probalby happened, then I called my dad and he blamed it on my mom, and anyway I had to go pick up my mom from my sister's house, then we went back home and looked for the insurance cards, which my mom found in the pile of papers that my dad has yet to go through on the Bar. Great right? So thanks to this incident, I had to miss my interview. Im under rested and stressed out, plus I think Im getting the Flu, horrah. So to calm myself I went into my "studio"
So thanks to my rigging up the new mic set up, we re-recorded the Blind Leading the Blind demo, and it's much clearer and has a waaaay heavier edge to it. I'm alot happier with this one. So maybe tomorrow if I'm not dead we'll get Beneath a Funeral Moon, and To Bathe Ourselves in Virgin's Blood, and maybe a cover who knows.
