Wow, after reading
this thread I have to say that I am very glad that my parents did the whole baby sleeps in the same room with parents thing. Not to mention that I am eternally grateful that my mother breastfed and that I got to see it when I was about ten years old when my little sister was a baby. I have no idea what the laws are in California regarding maximum number of residents per bedroom. But, I mean, c'mon .... how silly is that to require that a BABY sleep in a different room!!!! That sort-of law ought to be illegal if it isn't already!!! *sigh* I'm too tired to expand any further .... But, it irks me. Especially since it puts a financial hardship on lower income families in a state (NY) where housing costs are already among the highest in the nation! ... And a law that states that a brother and sister can't share a bedroom!!!! *rolls eyes* If that law existed in California during my childhood then we were breaking the law from when I was three up until I was fourteen years old.
.... Oh right, and then my younger siblings shared a room until my parents split up when I was seventeen.
Anyhow, I should eat while the little one is still sleeping....
