My top three things I've done all summer would have to be Bonnaroo, making The Paco, and doing the 48 hour film festival. Forrizzle, those things were super awesome, and I'm glad I was able to cram the three of them into my hectic summer that was already stuffed with school.
Bonnaroo was pretty great, I wish I could tell you guys all about it. But I really just can't... there's too much to tell. :-(
Now, some people wouldn't consider "making The Paco" a highlight of the summer. But making seemed like the climax to something that was building up all summer... closer friendships. Now, some people may ask "What is a Paco?" Take a Dijorno meat lover's pizza. Cook it. Take it out of the oven. Dump a bunch of Taco stuffs on it. Fold it in half. Voila! A Paco! Not only was it fun to do, not only was it with amazing people, but it tasted absolutely amazing. We used chipotle seasoning in the beef which put a slight twist to the pizza/taco taste. It worked very well with it! :-D
NO I REFUSE TO PUT IT BEHIND A CUT.
>:-(
This past weekend I did the 48 Hour Film Project. We had to do a fantasy film in 48 hours that included the following: a flashlight, a bartender named Alice, and the line "Cool it. I know what I'm doing." I think that we did pretty well. :-D The movie is going to be screened tonight in Orlando at 6:00 and you better believe I'll be there. ;-p I'll try to post a youtube video sometime of it. It's absolutely epic.
Great summer, Great people, great times.
