Feelings, unicorns, and possible eagles

Today has been a better day. I slept for about 12 hours, woke up in time for breakfast, spent most of the day lying around the hotel room (except for 45 minutes when they threw me out to clean the room), chatted to friends online, and read the entirety of Phoebe And Her Unicorn, which was great, and I recommend anyone who enjoyed Calvin & Hobbes

Thanks to some prodding on FB I think it could be a black kite, which has a wingspan of about 150cm and looks like this:

This seems more likely from the behaviour description - kites don't seem to be big fish-eaters from what I can find.

But, technically, I claim it as being an Unidentified Flying Object, so if anyone (fan or mundane) asks me if I believe in UFOs, I get to say "Yes".

I'm comfortable with that. (I'm also comfortable with "It's a large bird. most likely a raptor or possibly a scavanger". I suppose some Religions in India follow the ancient tradition of exposing their dead for vultures to consume and that such birds are encouraged to dispose of other carrion baggage [as it were].
