It looked pretty, and you got to have epic space battles in 3D.
As this article on the re-release says:I’d say it looks as good as I remember Homeworld looking in the first place, which means the Remasters impressively can equal the sludgy haze of nostalgia, memory, and imagination.
(Luckily, I have enough other games in the queue to keep me going until it's been out six months and I can get it cheap.)
