I like your Julie. I tend to freak my husband out by pointing out the flaws in most murder movies. I must say, though, Breaking Bad is exceptionaly good at body disposal. You two have so much to look forward to.................

I think the main theme of Breaking Bad is that if you want to be a killer living near a desert is a real advantage.

I've long since started thinking that I'm Really Missing Out on Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones, having never seen a single episode of either, nor (in the latter case) read any of the books.

You could watch the first episode of each of them. Should be enough to tell you if they're your kind of thing.

Personally, I'm enjoying Thrones more than Bad, but I'm only two episodes into Bad, so there' still plenty of time for me to fall in love with it!

I have no doubt whatsoever that GoT is My Kind of Thing, and I'm reasonably confident that BB is, too. (And Dexter, speaking of body counts. Also never seen.) However, I have half a DVR full of shows that I *have* been watching and need to catch up on -- that Riss doesn't watch, which means I have to slot them in while she's at work -- which inhibits the addition of extra shows.

Speaking of BB:

If Breaking Bad Had Been Set in the U.K.

I linked to that. Except I linked to the original author's page/post:

I've seen the first two seasons of Dexter. Very intense, but very good.

I take it Riss doesn't like violent things?
