Sea of Blue
Reading through some Takeshi Kitano stuff.. guessing that no one else knows who he is so I won't bother explaining other than saying he's one of my favourite film makers.
Anyway to cut it short, he had a scooter accident in 1994 which almost killed him, prior to the accident he kept getting drunk and saying that he wants to die etc etc. But I found this funny little quote from one of his books about his time in hospital.
"I was thinking, 'Maybe I should live a more thoughtful life, now that they have repaired me'. Then my eyes caught the arse of the nurse, who just made my bed and my dick stood up instantly. Not a chance."
