Things were so bad at the start of this year. The weight situation and articles saying "romanian gymnastics is on a decline" were not helping much however I am feeling far more confident than three months ago. My decision on this matter will have nothing to do with the incident of the Sydney games, but I do appreciate your kind words. Everyone retires at some point. I plan to do well at the World Championships. I will see then whether or not to retire, but I do plan to do well there. I enjoyed our chat very much. I hope I see more of you for my stay here.

*sigh* I know exactly how you feel. Not to put it politely, expectations suck. Gwendal, my ice dance partner, and I were always being compared, when we just wanted to be ourselves. Well, we did win the Olympics, but many people thought we not do our best. It their fault, if we didn't.
Don't quit. *hugs* There have been times when I want to give up, but I didn't, and here I am as World and Olympic champion. You'll find motivation inside. If you don't--we will motivate you.:)

I do have motivation inside to do what I must do. Motivation allowed me to pass the baccalaureate exam this year, an obstacle which was no easy task with my schedule. I believe strongly that my motivation will allow me to do well at the World championships. That is one thing I am currently focussed upon. Thank you so much for your words and comments. And as I said above, everyone retires some point. I feel confident I will make that decision at the right time.

Aww. Well like Oksana say I know how you feel. It so stupid something you take to feel better make you get stripped of medal. That was really, really bad time of my life. So bad...

Thank you so much Elena. Being stripped of the gold in Sydney was a very hard event to come over. I am so sorry you as well had to experience that. However, as they say we can only look ahead and take where we can from here. I can never truly let that consume me in my goals.
