Today I graduated cosmetology school. I never thought this day would come. It didn't go by fast...It was very difficult...but also very rewarding. I thought it would be easy...cuts & colors...NOPE! I had to learn finger waves & pincurls...stupid cuz no one wears them & they hurt your fingers! I had to learn rollersets EVERY DAY on smelly old people that think $2 is an amazing tip. I had to learn many different mens cuts on many different psychotic men that ended up stalking me and or other students...and they smelt too. I had to do stinky perms on stinky old people with greasy 2 hairs on their heads. I had to learn new color, color corrections, so many crazy things on so many crazy people ! I want to thank anyone that came in to let me practice on them. I want to thank most of the girls I went to school with for teaching me easier ways to do things. I am soo happy & relieved I am finally done. I could cry of joy. I can't wait to start my career as a hairstylist.
I am probably (hopefully, once I get my license & talk to them) work at Dellaria. It's a salon chain in most malls. I feel like it's a good start because I can get walk ins (cuz it's a mall) & also they have an amazing product line, they offer amazing benefits, and they pay good !! I want to work in the South Shore Plaza. This is an hour away from my house, but closer to James' house. We will probably (hopefully) for REAL move in together and it will be an easier commute for me.
