Ladies and gentlemen, my brain gave me a sterek dream!
And was it a good dream full of love and hugs? Nooo. I think you're mistaking my brain with me, I'd totally bring sterek with love and hugs, my brain decided that forced-to-mate, dub-con & psychosis are the way to go.
In the dream Stiles and Derek lived together in a creepy house and went up to great lengths to keep people away from it, because there were some ghosts/demons/dark powers in the house that trapped and killed people. They also trapped Stiles, when he traspassed, but Derek claimed him as his own and saved his life. (Don't ask me why it worked, maybe those were angry Hales' ghosts and therefor recognized Stiles as pack.) And now Stiles is stuck at the house and only can call other people, but mostly it's just him and Derek and he starts going a bit crazy. 'Cause you see, he loves Derek, but thinks Derek suffers with him, because he's on a guilt trip about all the people that died in the house and he tried so desperately to save at least one. (Derek, btw, loves Stiles and recognized him as his mate, but is sure that Stiles is trapped there only by the mating ritual and would never chose Derek as his mate if he had any choice in the matter.)
And here is where my brain should go with "and then Derek finds a way to set Stiles free and he does so, because he loves him and Stiles go, because Gaston is creeping out his dad, but then he comes back and kisses Derek before the rose dies", but no.
Instead Stiles goes crazy. He starts seeing his mum and talking to her. But realizes how messed up it is, so he tries to imagine some family he could talk to, but who wouldn't be real and comes up with his and Derek's son. (My brain knows I love a kid!fic and it tried to indulge me in its creepy way... It's almost sweet...) He gets overly attached to it and finally Derek notices and the thing is a bit out of control and Derek is all "don't you think that in a hunted house full of dark forces it's not a good idea to give life to something that doesn't exists, even if it takes a cute form?!"
And I woke up before my brain decided if 1) Stiles was just going crazy, nothing supernatural about it, 2) or the kid was something dark and powerful gaining strength to come to life, 3) or the kid's name was Peter. (Though now that I'm awake, I'm going with number three.)
