http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/ So I was reading this article and at one point I burst out laughing because of this quote:
"But McCain spokesman Brian Rogers is standing by the claim, and said the Obama campaign is launching "hysterical attacks."
'The only people ‘lying’ about spending are the Obama campaign," Rogers said. "The only explanation for their hysterical attacks is that they’re afraid that when John McCain and Sarah Palin are in the White House, Barack Obama’s nearly $1 billion in earmark spending will stop dead in its tracks.'"
Idiot. When you're trying to villify someone, you try to paint them as a bad-guy. What bad-guy do YOU know stays up at night plotting how to give money back to people? (Because another main stroke of the Republican platform is that Barack is a socialist communist pigwhore or whatever).
No, what bad-guys do is lie up at night trying to figure out how to TAKE money from people. Which sounds a whole HELL of a lot like the current administration with their grubby little hands stuck in so many pies that it's impossible to actually pin any specific crime on them because the paper-trails are so hopelessly intertwined and confusing.
So in short, you've just complimented your opponent, brought into sharp-relief that your current party-leader is exactly the person you DON'T want in office, and also that, by proxy, your presidential candidate is the same way.
All of this, of course, assuming that ANY REPUBLICAN CURRENTLY ALIVE HAS ANY RIGHT AT ALL TO CRITICIZE SOMEONE FOR OVERSPENDING.
Go fuck your eye with a rusty knife you blind retarded dipshit, and see if you can get that $10 TRILLION plank out of there before complaining about a measly mote of $1 Billion in ear-marked spending.
