Coolest, most unlikely dream EVER
I just dreamt that there was some kind of TV show that was essentially a fashion contest--a beauty contest....
on an intergalactic scale. And the participants are planets themselves.
Imagine if the world got together and, because there was a MASSIVELY huge incentive prize like, control of a planet that is basically one big whateverinum mine, and spent like 400 trillion 2008 dollars on primping up the planet.
Grading would take place according to how well groomed urban centres were, how well cared for wild life was, how diverse it was, how (naturally) controlled the weather patterns were (indicating the general health of the planet) etc.
Earth lost to Risa, of course, but DAMN Gaia looked totally hittable by the end of it....I guess as some kind of tourist destination.
And humans actually "cared" about the planet!!!!
