Summer is going alright. Just got back from NYC a couple days ago. Our hotel was on Broadway and 45th street, overlooking Times Square. The sights were amazing. I had a blast. The Lion King is amazing on Broadway. I went to a taping of the David Letterman show. That was one of my favorite things. The food was good. NY has the best cheesecake and one night I had the best ceasar salad. I had some good wine at various places. So much more to say but I'm too lazy to write it now. There is still so much more to see. Dad wants to go back at Christmas time. I'm game. Pictures on my Facebook if you care to see.

I'm having eye surgery on Tuesday. Though, I've had surgeries like this before, I'm still nervous. I won't be able to see my computer screen for at least a week so if you need me, call me.

Still working on a job. I applied for Whole Foods. I called today and said application reviews take a while so I need to call back next weekend. I can't get ahold of Mrs. Kayron to see if she found me a job. It's so frustrating finding a job. Maybe I'm not trying hard enough though. All I know, is that I can't stay home all summer. That and my Dad won't let me but still, it will drive me nuts.

Went out with high school friends last night. It was awesome, as usual. I love the fact that we can go away for a year, spractically seeing each other, yet every time, we pick up where we left off. I hope we find things to do this summer. I love going out to eat but 1) It's expensive 2) I get fatter. Roadtrips anyone?

I miss my college friends. I talked on the phone to a good friend yesterday for awhile and it made me miss everyone even more. It's so different at home now that I'm in college. There I'm responsible for myself, I can do whatever I want, whenever I want. And I live with my friends. Here I'm somewhat controlled by my parents, I don't see my friends that often, I have responsibilities, etc. Though, I don't miss the college work right now, I miss college.

I'm working Challenge for Millsaps in about 3 weeks. It's a service-oriented program for incoming students for a week. I'm excited. I get to go back for a week, meet new people, perform service projects, and see some Millsaps friends. And I get to see some friends who are in summer school and people who live in/around Jackson. Yay!

That's all that's going on now. I'm bored. Ready for something exciting to happen. I hope summer won't go as slow as these past few weeks have.
