I so need to rec my gift, Stopping by Woods which not only manages to recap a very special mood and background from the fandom (one of those many tiny moments during which despair over and personal responsibility taken for actions become transparent), but also gives us three of the main characters totally in character without ulterior motives attached, which then makes perfect use of the established canon of machinery and procedure, and manages to add and expand a tiny moment of canon-established attraction and lastly - as if all that wasn't yet enough - it also is a real Christmas Story. Please read and review (I'm still writing mine)!
