The shit hitting the fan.
Jesus fuck! It's a wonder some people can BREATHE, let alone hold jobs. Where do they find these teachers at my college? Shelters for the homeless?
This is my letter to one of them, emailed today. I think it explained everything:

There has apparently been some kind of miscommunication regarding one of my assignments.
I submitted my second developmental psychology assignment online in word format last term. Today, I received a printed version with your comments in via snail mail. Fair enough if reading on the screen hurts your eyes, though it would be more convenient for me if online assignments were marked and commented on online.
However my mind boggled as I tried to comprehend why you had stated I had lost marks because you were unable to read one line on the printed document.
I’m going to assume it is not college policy for students to be penalized because a teacher: 1) has not configured her hardware to standardized margins, 2) has sub standard hardware that does not print standard margins or 3) is incapable of using basic Word file commands, thus allowing them to alter the margins on a file such that their substandard hardware doesn’t cut off random parts of the text.
The ‘missing line’ is intact in the online word document, as it was submitted. If your are confused or perhaps need help with basic formatting commands (on a standardized word file layout, the margins are marked on the top and left-hand sides of the document in the form of rulers, by the way, you just slide the grey parts back and forth to change the margins) feel free to contact me. Otherwise I shall expect my grade to be revised accordingly.
