Literally. I had serious jaw issues for a long time that were eventually corrected by surgery; it turns out it wasn't TMJ, but I understand how much it sucks to have acheyjaw all the time, and as such I send you big hugs!
Is that who that was? Eliza Dushku, right? I knew she looked familiar, but I've only ever seen her in Buffy as Faith, so I've never seen her looking so... soft, or something. Cool.

Counting up Lex's near-deaths so far, and allowing for a couple of near misses during his wild youth, I come up with The Cat as being #8.
So in my little world, Lex has one to go.
So therefore I can content myself that there is a sequel to this somewhere in which Lex wakes up in the hospital, stretches, purrs, and gives Clark a tongue bath.
It might cheapen the story for some, but I need it. I need the happy ending. My life has enough unhappy endings that I don't need the fanfic versions too :-)

Tongue. Bath.
*thuds*
God, woman... you're going to kill me with images like that!
"Don't expect any sympathy from me. You killed me first, remember?"
*sighs* Inner Lex is so cheeky when he's been wronged... *winks*
Anyway, as to a sequel, I'll need to defer to a cohort who has suggested the possibility already and has been granted enthusiastic leave to write it, if she so chooses. I won't "out" the author, for she may have changed her mind. However... it is a possibility *nods and grins*

Jen K! *bounces*
Good to see you here, babe. I'm doing better now. Weekends always bring a lessening of the pain. I'm nearly back to normal, I (think/hope/pray).
Mine isn't to the point where I need surgery... yet. I'm sincerely hoping to avoid that *shudders*
Thanks for the commiseration, sweetie *hugs back*

Ain't Wendi the coolest for that bit of "casting"? Eliza Dushku as Lois. Brilliant girl, is the Wendi. *nods*
Work got worse, then better in the afternoon. I think my boss and I have reached a detante of sorts. Jaw is also better. Thanks!
