"Eddie," Ford called out, checking the bowl on the table by the door. "Hey, Eddie," he repeated, getting down on his hands and knees to see if what he was looking for had fallen. "E," he called out once again, sighing.

"What?" Eddie answered. When Ford turned around he was treated to the sight of his half naked boyfriend, complete with towel wrapped around his waist and toothbrush in the corner of his mouth. Removing the toothbrush, Eddie walked over to the kitchen and spit into the sink. "What? You called me. I'm here -- so, what?" he asked, coming back out of the kitchen.

Ford sat there, transfixed before snapping out of his trances, eyes moving to the floor. "My keys," he said, finally. "I put them in the key bowl. I mean, that's why there is a key bowl. For the keys. But mine aren't there. Yours are. Mine aren't. Did you take them by accident," he asked, pulling himself up.

"Yes," Eddie answered. "I grabbed them before I jumped in the shower. It seemed practical." His boyfriend glared at him and shook his head.

"You could have said no," Ford replied.

"What fun would that have been," Eddie asked, sticking the toothbrush back in his mouth. He then garbled out, "Take mine, I'm not going anywhere..." before disappearing back into their bedroom.

"OK," Ford replied, turning back and seeing what hadn't been there before. Or - he had just missed the fact that they were sitting there. Rubbing the middle of his forehead, Ford shook his head slowly, before licking his lips and grabbing his keys out of the key bowl. "I'm going crazy. That's it. Crazy."
