two cheers and a pat on my back
I'm so proud of myself. Yesterday I called Rhonda and she was like what's up, my reply: laying in bed half naked. We talked for a few minutes and then she told me i should head to the Hyper b/c that was where she was going. At first I didn't want to b/c that meant getting up, putting on clothes, and then, heaven forbid, actually going to work out. Then I realized Kathy would be there too so I decided to go. so I got to introduce them to each other, AND I ran three miles on the elliptical machine and did weight training. I signed up for a physical eval but I'm going to have to change the time b/c of work (i need to just start carrying our ever changing schedule around with me). yeah proud of myself that I worked out yesterday. Rhonda said she was proud of me for doing that much at the gym. It's not that I'm out of shape, it's just that I'm lazy! But once I get there I really tend to do a lot. I think Kathy and I are going to play tennis on Thursday night, which is going to be a blast. Kathy took tennis lessons in high school and i don't remember when the last time I played was; this will be very interesting :).
Did I mention they are still doing construction outside my window. They start at 7 a.m., I go to bed usually at like 3 a.m., this does not make me happy. However, this morning they did not use the machine that sounds like a machine gun going off beside my head- this made me happy. I'm really excited about what they are building- a new health center for campus is going to be super cool (including a gynecologist!)- I just don't want to be living so close to the construction site any more.
I'm tired of being poor. I need a job that actually pays, instead of someone spitting on my paycheck and calling that money- fuckers. anyway, any one want to donate to the Rachel is so poor she could cry fund?!.....no?....figures
currently reading: rereading Poisonwood Bible, The Witching Hour, and various other books I picked up from the library.
P.S. my computer has decided to not pick up the signal from my wireless keyboard any more (it still picks up the signal from the wireless mouse, however). therefore, if any one knows what might be wrong will you please inform me, or if anyone has a keyboard they no longer want or use, again, please let me know!
