Argh. I can’t get myself to writing the damn introduction to the thesis. Like surfing the Internet and feeding hungry bunnies better.
So I finally feel sorry for Paul von Stetten. I think seeing his city being mediatized by the Kingdom of Bavaria in 1806 broke his heart eventually. He died only two years later … that's proof enough, at least for me.
Reading stuff on Alexander the Great for the ancient history class tomorrow morning (you really think I‘d do that just to get around writing that introduction thing? Well … you’re kind of … right). So I’m glad I saw that movie on Alexander the Great with Colin Farrell playing the lead (Colin Farrell, Jared Leto and Jonathan Rhys Meyers are always … enjoyable). Because it turns out that it wasn’t that incorrect, neither in historical terms nor when it comes to Alexander’s character. He probably was unrestrained, brutal and unbending but yet he must have been a brilliant strategist and a visionary.
Ugh, the boyfriend just called. He said he wants to go shopping in the afternoon because it’s someone’s birthday next Tuesday. Well, I actually don’t know what he’s talking about because I decided not to grow older this year. Period.
