We made steel cut oats this morning. This is the almond milk in my Saucemaker and the oats toasting in the pan. I was very excited to use my Saucemaker today, and it turned out delicious. The oats were sweet enough with just the vanilla almond milk, but I added a bit of brown sugar to mine. DH added a little extra salt to his, but I don't like a lot of salt in my food - just enough to bring out the flavor. We needed a hearty breakfast before our blood donation today ^_^
*edit* I didn't have enough iron for the donation, but DH had plenty so he was able to donate. I'll try again next week so we can donate together in December.
