A good night out in Beijing consists of hangin out with 2 americans, 2 swedes, a canadian, a german, an englishman and a japanese dude. A night out is a night out. A bit touristy the bars were but had a good night nonetheless. It was funny when Anna started hugging me after being stuck talking to an african dude for about 20 minutes of waiting. I told her I'd be 2 minutes oops. At the end of the night I had my first go at street meat. First it was a lamb skewer then a chicken skewer then one more lamb skewer for good measure. The last lamb skewer however tasted a bit odd but that night I was a bit drunk so didn't think much of it. The next day on the way to the heavenly temple I ran into an american dude and his french gf. I explained to him my little story and he told me (in all seriousness) that the funky tasting meat I had the night before was probably the local cat. GROSS!!! So I inadvertantly ate cat wohoo! Cat: You should try it one day - it's definitely not like chicken and even less like lamb.
