Well, I did it. The J2AU version of Redemption is no longer posted on my LJ and the new Kindle e-book version is
available on Amazon.
I have to admit...having a book on Amazon is kind of cool (even if I'm the one who uploaded it there). :-)
Now mind you, I don't believe a single person knows the danged thing exists yet. I have the ability to look at up-to-the-minute stats on sales and number of times borrowed (I enrolled Redemption in Kindle Select, which makes it exclusive to Amazon for 90 days, but also allows the book to be borrowed for free from the Kindle library by Amazon Prime members). Right now, both report columns feature a big, fat goose egg. Of course, the book has only been visible for a matter of hours. I realize this is a marathon, not a sprint. But this kind of thing is addictive. You want to keep refreshing pages (not only Amazon, but
You Tube,
Freado,
Facebook, and
Twitter) to see how you're doing. This whole social media push makes it frighteningly easy to be a narcissist.
So tell your friends and neighbors! Like what you like! Review and/or comment at will. Don't be shy.
I'm learning I can't afford to be. :-)
