Superman Recs Underway
Just a heads up that I'll be reccing for the Superman movieverse this month on crack_van, a multi-fandom reccing community. Superman qualifies as a small fandom, so we just have this one month to showcase what's going on in the community. There's even a chance to recommend one fanvid and a crossover, so I'm still hunting for the perfect gems to highlight this fandom.

My first rec is Save Me by dream_harder which bridges the gap between Superman II and Superman Returns. There will be others throughout the month so you can check out the community to follow along!
Don't worry, BSG friends. I haven't lost the love for that show, though I'm waiting until tomorrow to be able to watch the latest episode. This unending lag behind everyone else's squee is rather tiresome when it comes to following fandom. *sigh*

In other news, it snowed and was windy as heck here today. We're ending up with somewhere over ten centimetres, but wildly drifted and thickly powdered onto the window screens. Took Ozzie to the vet this morning to check out a lump on his face which seems to be a benign growth fairly commonly seen. He has some steroid cream and also a hypoallergenic dog food to start on a month's trial and see if we can beat back some allergic symptoms afflicting his ears and eyes. He loves the new food -- duck, pheasant, oats and potatoes. Sounds good to me!
