The Smell of a New Car

Those of you who don't follow me on twitter will hopefully be happy to learn that I finally got that new car I've been wanting to get ever since I wrecked my old one about six months ago (don't ask).

Do you have a particular preference for a stick shift?

No, quite the contrary in fact. When I learned to drive, the programmer in me rebelled against the "rules of stickshifting", since they could have been automated away and there's no reason for me to do something so repetitive. So I'm all for automatic gear shifting (efficiency and control issues aside). Apparently enough people agree with me to make that model automatic-only in Israel.

It follows immediately from the above that the image isn't of my own car. If you find out where I got it from, I'll add another "creepy" in front of your usual "uber geek" title. :)

Oh, we get along excellently well, except she's a little loud sometimes (I've been known to have that effect on the female kind). I'm not entirely happy with the name, but it's stronger than me.
