My world vs your world

The Jazz Age is the second album by the British alternative rock band Jack, released in August 1998. It was recorded in Wales and London in late 1997 and early 1998, and was produced by Darren Allison.

One of the album's songs was "My World versus Your World".

About 3 years ago (April 2011), I started writing a ficlet for each line of the song. And now, I think it's time to post and finish it. (I will wait to read badly_knitted's work on one of the lyrics as well.

My room versus your room
my heart versus your heart
my hands versus your hands
my light versus your dark
my dreams versus your dreams
my clothes versus your clothes
my memories versus your memories
my ID versus your ID
my mouth versus your mouth
my North versus your South
my world versus your world
you're history
get behind me
get behind me
just now and forever

My drugs versus your drugs
my songs versus your songs
my time before sleep versus your time before sleep
my silly lies versus your silly lies
my drunk versus your drunk
my hurt versus your hurt
my fingers and thighs versus your fingers and thighs
my tragic first love versus your tragic first love
my debt versus your debt
my childhood grudge versus your childhood grudge
my cruel bliss versus your cruel bliss
my dirty tricks versus your dirty tricks
my truth versus your truth
my green versus your blue

My world...

Don't make this wait
don't make me say it
say it loud
when I can't even write it down

Kill time with me
like on this Saturday
and on bank holidays
just you and me
well cut the throat of time
won't if be fine
more wrong than right...

So, I'm going to post a ficlet for every "versus" of this song and one more for the end. That's the plan!
Stories will not be connected.

my world versus your world
