(no subject)
sheesh, its been a long time since ive updated my lj. part of that is because of the insane amount of work i do. another is that when i get home, i really am sick of being on a computer, so i avoid it. the third is i moved into my new house last week and i decided not to get internet or cable. if i want to watch tv, ill go to my folks house. if i want the internet, i decided i would use my work computer or go to the library, which is happily a block from my house. yay!!! thats where i am right now.
so, updates. work rocks, most of the time. this week has been hard, and i havent been doing a very good job i dont think. i need to work harder, but im just so drained. i havent had a day off in three weeks. ive had events to cover on the weekends, and such, so im exhasted. as soon as i make it through fourth of july (which is the biggest holiday of the year in my little town) ill be much happier.
ian came to visit finally. the sexual tension is therefore aliviated, and im much happier now that he's closer in distance.
what else, i think thats about it. my life is work, and coming home from work to sit and watch a movie or read some mindless, but awesomely fun book. i dont have the brain capacity to read anything tough right now. all my brain space is dedicated to working. the work itself isn't hard, but writing the articles can be challenging if im not feeling particularly inspire, which happens even to the best of writers. anyway, things are primarily good, with only a few bad parts.
so im gonna go now because all these books are staring at me and i have to peruse them... til next time!
