Ah, January. A time to look back on failed resolutions of the past and make well-intentioned but soon-abandoned attempts to set new goals. I'd intended to set myself high goals for gaming in 2012:

1. Play the RPGs I have with me in LA that I have yet to play.
   
2. Get Cyberworld (and A Certain Kind of Decision) to the external playtesting stage.
   
3. At every con I attend, offer at least one prep-intensive game.
   
4. Submit one of those games to the 2013 Kapcon SDC.

As my post from the start of last year indicated, I didn't do a very good job on my 2010 resolutions. How did I do in 2011?

1. Play the RPGs I have with me in LA that I have yet to play.
   
2. Get A Certain Kind of Decision to the external playtesting stage.
   
3. Submit Echoes to the 2012 Kapcon SDC.
   
4. Play more board games than 2010. That won't be hard.

Not much has changed from last year. Games that have been struck through are those that I've already played in some systematic way. Games that are italicised are those that I've technically played which I don't feel should be crossed off (usually because my only experience of the game is as a player in a single convention one-off).

Not really. It's a to-do/wish-list:

1. Play the RPGs I have with me in LA that I have yet to play.
2. Do something with A Certain Kind of Decision.
3. Learn, play and teach Race for the Galaxy.
4. Prevent a US-based "Shelf of Shame" by painting all the figures I have here.
