Weekend... what weekend?
Today begins a long weekend for me in which to do massive amounts of work on The Thesis. Whether that will eventuate will depend on a number of things:
A. chibiporn is visiting for a whole 8 days, starting tomorrow! There should be a whirlwind of catching up and ranting and raving about various things. Shopping and eating. Oh yes, mustn't forget those. Not very rich at the moment, moi. But there are probably things I must get (like various presents for people) and a hot water bottle! I miss mine! I have no idea where I left it last. Also, we have already on our list a number of places to sample culinary delights. Well, for chibiporn to sample anyway: Mundaring pizza, The Moon's pasta, the nostalgic taste of Perth's fish and chips, and Italian confectionary (I admit to being a little confused with this item. She'll need to explain when she gets her tomorrow morning). Fortunately, she's staying over at my place, so there's plenty of opportunity to monopolize her time. I think I need her to tell me now and again how irrational I'm being about some things. I know I'm fairly level headed but it's always good to have someone else glare or roll their eyes at you. And then you know how stupid you've been. XD
B. Catch up time with the nekos tonight. It's been a while, especially since we've all been busy with either work or studies (or both). Again, rantage time is needed. Possibly supplemented by copious amounts of alcohol.
C. Inability to sit still for long periods of time. Am still in recovery mode. *sigh*
D. Sporadic moments of missing harlzen. 'Nuff said.
At least I've started on Thesis work. Spent the morning making a nice pork mince porridge for lunch. And sat down and typed up a few more paragraphs. So, feeling pretty productive at the moment. Shall go for a walk soon to unwind a little. Then back to work again.
