I need some happy news!
Ok, on the upside, I'm definitely recovering. I must be, right, if my appetite is making a comeback?
And tis the season for travellling (as well as the flu bug). My office-mate... the very very tall boy... is off with his better half to Walpole. Even if it's within the state, he's at least got a vacation to look forward to. naanima has Singapore in mid-July, and even if it's mostly work-related, she gets to fly some place. And j3ffu himself is off to Mauritius for 3 weeks.
I think I'm just hankering for a change after being cooped up in the house for more than 3 days. I think towards the end I was getting a little stir crazy, and the headaches were getting worse. So in a way, I was glad to get out today and head in to work, even actually managing to do some work, like clearing some emails and sorting out some course work related stuff.
And then sometimes I think I'll never be warm again (but then again, this is probably a residual effect of having had the flu). But I see that the sun is out this morning and hopefully, I'll be able to soak up some rays. Which I can probably do now since it's LUNCH TIME!
