Pee es, if you're expecting me to know and understand every side of a given issue, you are really setting yourself up for disappointment.
I hope you know it's okay to let me know of a different angle without making it into a matter of me being inconsiderate, or selfish, or whatever. Especially when I was clearly just ranting.
I wasn't saying that it's necessary to know every side of an issue - I was saying that you should know other points of view before you criticize something, otherwise you're indirectly saying that your opinion is the most important, to the point that others should not be considered.\
It was more the blind contempt for whoever the comments were directed to that bothered me.
This is kind of silly, but I hope you understand what I'm trying to say, because while it doesn't matter with such a trivial issue, if you have that attitude with something so trivial, it's extremely likely that you'll keep the same attitude when speaking about more important issues.
But I don't think it really was criticism. That's a word that implies that I know a lot about.. whatever it is, that I'm in some position to make a judgement. Honestly, that was just frustration. I had a headache from the air conditioning, I was frustrated. End of story. I don't feel this contempt that you are reading into it. I had no idea that a more moderate level of air conditioning could possibly cause any sort of issue; as far as I knew it was purely comfort-based.
Side note: pointing out an unintentional, backhanded disrespect with an open disrespect seems a bit hypocritical.
Maybe. Or maybe I was just frustrated. Maybe I just wasn't thinking very hard about the words I used because the whole issue is SO RIDICULOUS. Maybe I honestly thought that the reason it was uncomfortably cold was mere overzealousness.
(Bobby, basically your entire point was that I was being completely selfish, inconsiderate and shortsighted. Which, if you ask me, is disrespectful. I don't think you'll be able to find many people who'll disagree.)

also, "It is TOO COLD. What is wrong with you?" is rather contemptuous.
