You'd be surprised how pervasive it is. Just being around them gives you the "human disease" as it were... although, killing them does seem to be a feasible option. Destroy the carriers and the disease can't thrive, correct?

Sounds about right to me. Though I don't want to make too big a scene, mainly the biggest distractions. This city is big, and there are a few minds capable of at least finding out more about it.
