Of course not. Humans don't realize how infectious their thoughts and feelings are, nor do they think that perhaps there's something better. What's essential is that you don't give in.

You'd be surprised how pervasive it is. Just being around them gives you the "human disease" as it were... although, killing them does seem to be a feasible option. Destroy the carriers and the disease can't thrive, correct?

Sounds about right to me. Though I don't want to make too big a scene, mainly the biggest distractions. This city is big, and there are a few minds capable of at least finding out more about it.
