Well shit, i dont know. It was in town center by the food court next to the nine west store and yeahhh. Kind of expensive, but...

first of all, it's a tv show, who gives a shit that Modest Mouse is performing? i mean, i know "they are [your] favorite band", but honestly, who cares. do you think Carson Daly really has much say in what happens on his show? probably not, he's a giant toolbag. the executives who work above him tell him what they think will make him look cooler, and this is probably just a way of attracting some of the "emo/indie" kid demographic. they want ratings, basically.
and for Modest Mouse, it's just a chance to build a wider fanbase.

but anway, why do you pay your parents 200 bucks a month?

i under stand that its all peaches and cream for their career, but its just the fact that they have a huge fan base already and that they are suppose to be an 'indie' rock band. And they are on a major label anyway. Its just kind of depressing and it seems like they are selling out hardcore.

and i have to pay 200 to my parents for insurance, 150 and my car, 50. Yeah basically it is going to take me forever to pay back the car at 50 a month
