The other week, coffeeandice got the plague and could basically just keep soup down. she had a lot of instant miso, and then i made her miso over the weekend. miso is totally easy and always tasty, so here is a recipe ( Read more... )

you can also use salt if you don't have any dashi around! (i usually don't) and it'll taste just as good. :Dv

hmm....i suppose it could be around the same? or maybe a little less? i tend to just add it to taste after the miso has dissolved.

thanks for the recipe!! I recently bought miso paste, tofu, wakame and leeks to make miso shiro :P I also bought kombu to make my own kombu dashi. I can't wait to cook it ^___^
