So they're doing construction in the bathrooms on my (office) floor, and they're closed. It's the second week of a projected three-week project, but you all know how construction goes. At any rate, they're closed. So i go down to the third floor, only it's broken. Like, smelly water all over the floor broken. So i left, very quickly, before i could step in it, because ew. This whole time i'm like, D: but i need to pee! so I hop the elevator to the six floor because I'm not sure my ID works on the 5th floor bathroom, and I'm not sure the 7th floor has a bathroom because the multipurpose room takes up a lot of space. 6th floor is being cleaned and you can't go in. down to try my luck with the fifth floor. Finally, finally, a working restroom. And now i know i can get in on the 5th floor too!
Happy (late) Birthday
helzfyah! I hope it was full of very many wonderful things!
I've realized why i dislike the status report part of my job when i generally love the rest of it--it's boring. The same thing every week, every month. The library submittals aren't enthralling, exactly, but they're often different documents, and either way they take about 5 minutes to do if they're hard copy, and maybe 15 seconds if they're soft. But the status reports take a long time and nothing interesting ever happens. QA projects aren't always riveting (xml manuals =/= my idea of pleasure reading) but there's a new thing every time.
Life has been fairly devoid of stories lately. No wonder those onni at the korean church never talked about their days.
