yesterday was a good daughter and helped clean (a bit) (ran away) (was caught and dragged back) and changed light bulbs for mom.
today, went to the bank, and cleaned more.

One interesting (and unrelated) thing about smith is that if you mark 'other' for your ethnicity, you count as 'white' automatically.
we moved it to the plant because we thought it would be safer there
but we found it on the porch door. Bugs are so freaky close up. My camera's close-up setting is very nice.
it was about 4 inches long total and cute. the praying mantis is an endangered species, so killing them is illegal. And the pictures are cut off a bit. probably something to do with this layout. i don't have time to fix it now.

Just realized what an awful thing it would be if the McCain-Palin ticket won the election--TINY FEY MIGHT BE ACCIDENTALLY ASSASSINATED BECAUSE SHE WON'T HAVE SECRET SERVICE PEOPLE. Please, for the sake of Tina Fey, vote Dem.
