We got lunch at cafe zaiya, but ate it in the little park space in front of the library at the corner. After, we hit bookoff and i bought some presents for people in the end. After bookoff, back to cafe zaiya for a bit to let tinyangl get something to drink (she'd forgotten earlier). Then to Kino because i'd not been to the new one, where we spent a long time looking through duet and wink-up. Ryo's. hair. D:
And tegomassu fail at drawing frogs.
Then it was nearly 5, so we walked to Duet and karaoked for a couple of hours. mix of english and japanese. Kami and i did lovejuice, taiyou no namida, and signal for the je. i did do one on one. all the practice for jepcast really paid off lol. bean has a penchant for depressing love songs, but the two of us stumbled our way through (m-flo♥BOA's) love bug.
then we got dinner at a little pizza place down the street. bean and i got pizza. she also got some garlic knot things. and kami got alfredo fetticini.
After getting home, bean showed me the first ep of Lucky Star (which i think wakikaki was using as dissertation distraction.)
yesterday: i don't remember yesterday.
we went to flushing. yum cha in the morning. it rained a lot. but the food was good. and the tea was not bad.
then we came back and chilled. it had stopped raining by then and a breeze had picked up, so we opened all the windows and it was nice inside. Then we went back into town for dinner. Bean wanted to go to a tapas place, but it was full-up, so we went around the corner to...somewhere else instead. a brewery? it was tasty. got home late.
she was tired and went to bed relatively early, i was tired, but i stayed up late XD i think i was conscious for 21 hours before finally crawling into bed. had weird dreams. water flooding a city, spurred on by an angry water demon; and a man with natural talent for being a spy, for his observation skills. He saw the purple mechanical cat and broke it in half before it could transmit and inside were three big chocolate chip cookies. which we ate.
