New York is always fun. What are you going to do while you're here?

what do you like? Where are you staying? I always recommend visiting museums, seeing performances, and walking around looking at things.

i am staying with therelic who lives....somewhere in new jersey.... geography fail. I'm not big on this 'musical' thing, but other than that. i'm up for most things, but i'm a lousy tourist (not enough drive, and little bit of stigma) and i prefer things that are less expensive/free to things that cost. i am newly unemployed afterall.

somewhere in nj? then you'll be taking a bus or a train to port authority I guess, so you'll be starting in midtown ( ... )

or. I should probably figure out where she lives.

places that are full to the brim with tourists are the places where i want to be a tourist least. even when, you know, i am one.

Thank you for the ideas. I'll keep these in mind when she asks me what i want to do. ^^;
Maybe we can look into free shows and stuff. That sounds interesting. I was in Manhattan a couple of years ago (...last year?) and spent a lot of time kicking around Bryant Park and that library.
