1. sometimes i think i will never (can never) understand you. but then you do/say something that reminds me that i don't need to understand to love you. on the other hand, in my self-centeredness, your sometimes-acid tongue makes me wonder what you actually think about me.
2. i'm still trying to shake the feeling that you're too cool for me. THIS MEANS I THINK YOU'RE REALLY COOL. Seriously, though, I'm glad to have had a chance to meet you. We're not terribly close, but i think i can learn a lot so i hope you'll keep me around a bit longer.
3. I just have so, so much admiration for you. You're incredibly witty and have this ability to turn random events into great stories. You just seem very discerning about things, so i always want to try to live up to your standards.
4. I kind of always wonder how you're so awesome, because it doesn't seem humanly possible. On top of it, you're intellgent, sweet, and sincere, which is like compounding interest of awesomeness. If you leave, know you'll be missed.
seriously, i think you're amazing.
5. I miss you when you're not around. I just want you to like me.
6. i'm sad we don't talk as much as we used to. It's probably my fault, so i'm sorry. I'm glad to know you're doing well and i wish i knew how to get back into your life.
7. the sting of the realization that we're not really friends anymore still smarts. i'm grateful for the wake-up call, but i can't help but wish it had been a little gentler.
