playing waiting games with myself
Went dancing night before last. Someone stillesprite was talking to invited us out, but they'd moved to a bar with too high a cover by the time we got up there, so we abandoned them and went to Lucky Bar. It was a night. We ran into Frank (frank! of all people, he's the last i would have expected in a human place). I found myself a good dancer. And then someone stillesprite had been talking to offered us a lift home.
Now my old bones are tired. still.

yesterday, rocksizedheart was coming into my part of town, so she and stillesprite went to H-mart while i did more homework, then she dropped stillesprite off and picked me up, and we went into the city. Got lupper at Chipotle in Dupont and had a the usual fun kinds of random conversation, and then i went to church 40 minutes late. good times.
On the way back, it started raining, and the street before Chinatown Station looked like Tokyo. Black rain-slick streets full of flashing, reflected light.
