not embarrassing. we don't get rugby. If i didn't get at least one of the two, I would be a very sad person. There's nothing quite like the possibility of fights and blood.

we watched a lot of rugby when we went to go visit family in Australia. I love it so hard. I'm really not much of a sports person, but I wish they showed that here.

yeah they take it pretty seriously over there (we beat them in the world cup!!! *glee). then again so do we! lol. its the only sport other than cricket im interested in.

I've never seen cricket ever. According to Bill Bryson, it's the only sport other than professional baking where you can start the game dressed entirely in white and finish the same way. He also says that it's the only sport planned around meals. Is this true?

hmm not so sure about the white part as if you have to dive to get back to base or catch a ball you won't stay clean for long! but yes about the meals-every cricket match has something called tea time where the players get a certain amount of time to go off and chill or whatever they do during that time. it's a pretty civilised game really.

lol thanks for the explanation! he's a comedy writer, so i'm never sure how much is actual fact and how much is creatively exaggerated. I wonder if the local futbol bar (once i get back to school) will ever show it.
