on the up side
I just realized that me-only posting means i can post as many times i want a day and not have to worry about it annoying the flist. lovely, lovely.
Lately, I've been noticing all the small blessings God gives me. Things like, the bus showing up just as i get to the stop, instead of it pulling away as i watch futilely. Yesterday, when even though i missed the bus I thought i wanted, the one coming the other direction and also going to a metro station was late and hadn't come yet (and was on my side of the street anyway). Or just now in the bathroom, when i took Style in with me. Yesterday I'd stuck the notecards I'd already written on it in a random place further back so I would have them, but they wouldn't be in the way. Today, when I opened the book, I opened to that page instead of the 'right' one. That page just happened to be Coupland addressing using mediated sources for data, and how it's not not as good as 'naturally occuring' conversation, and why. Fell right into my lap. Those kinds of things. Things that really have nothing to do with me, and no way I could try and take the credit. I'm just very thankful.
on another note, period, where are you? I realize February is shorter than all the other months, so you probably wouldn't start on the 2nd or 3rd, but it is the 8th now, and i feel like you should have started by now. :\
